iPod interface
A must for music lovers: plug your iPod or iPhone into the interface and play your favourite sounds through the MINI audio system. Whether you want to listen to songs or podcasts, the iPod or iPhone can be controlled quickly and easily via the MINI joystick, the MINI Radio or the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel. Artist, album, title and genre information is shown on the on-board monitor or radio display. The iPod or iPhone is also charged from the vehicle electrics while it is connected, so the music never stops. The device is securely stored out of sight of prying eyes, either in a compartment in the instrument panel or in the glove compartment.
For models to 08/10 with MINI Radio Boost CD (option 6FC) or MINI Professional Navigation system (option 609).
