THE FACTS.

WHAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW.

This powerhouse just dishes out a barrage of superlatives. It's the fastest MINI Paceman in the range and also the most exclusive. Once that light goes green, the new MINI John Cooper Works Paceman is off, cutting an elegant dash as it leaves other cars in its wake. The especially developed John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit is the only thing keeping this collector's piece with standard All-Wheel Drive from taking to the skies. The incredible driving experience comes from a twin-scroll turbocharged engine with an electronic Overboost function. When pushed to the limit, the Overboost jacks up the already formidable torque to a staggering 300 Nm. On the outside, the basic Paceman's design is gallery-worthy already. But the John Cooper Works spoiler kit and additional racing design elements make it even more irresistible.

TECHNICAL INFO.

EVERYTHING AT A GLANCE.

How’s this for some exhilarating numbers? A 218 horsepower 1.6-litre engine launches you from 0-100 km/h in 6.8 [6.8] s flat. And before you’ve had the time to recover from the initial rush, you’ll have hit the top speed of 229 [226] km/h.

Performance numbers this high must come with daunting consumption figures, right? Wrong. For a car this hungry for action, its fuel consumption and CO2 exhaust are both remarkably low. The latest technology in fuel saving caps off the fuel consumption at just 7.1 [7.5] l/100km and 165 [175] g/km of CO2 emissions.

NOTES
All details refer to vehicles with six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment. Values in [ ] apply to vehicles with an automatic six-speed transmission Steptronic.

All MINI models meet the EU5 emission standards. Fuel consumption is determined in accordance with the ECE driving cycle (80/1268 EEC) made up of approximately one third urban traffic and two thirds extra-urban driving (based on the distance covered). CO2 emissions are measured in addition to fuel consumption as such. Fuel consumption levels are calculated on the basis of vehicles with standard equipment. Optional equipment (e.g. wider tyres) may significantly influence consumption.

¹ The figure quoted includes a 90% tank filling, 68 kg for the driver and 7 kg for luggage. Unladen weight applies to vehicles with standard equipment. Optional equipment will increase this figure.

POWER LINES.

Wide, long and low, the new MINI John Cooper Works Paceman sports a silhouette that spells elegance and action all at once. The lowered sport suspension and gravity-aiding spoilers push the new MINI John Cooper Works Paceman firmly down to the asphalt for that sensational go-kart feeling. At the same time, its gentle lines almost make you forget you're dealing with a pure-bred race car. Until you fire up the engine that is.
