THE FACTS.

WHAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW.

The MINI Cooper S Coupé is not just a classic two-seater. It is also a thoroughbred sports car.

The twin-scroll turbocharger developing 135 kW (184 hp) gives it plenty of energy. The aerodynamically shaped Coupé silhouette helps it to cut effortlessly through the air stream. Thanks to this combination, the two-seater is capable of a top speed of 230 [224] km/h. To ensure that the Coupé stays fully agile even at such high speeds, torsion reinforcements have been incorporated into the bulkhead behind the front seats. They stiffen the body and reduce the load on the driver.

For all the incredible performance of the two-seater’s engine, the interior is remarkably comfortable and geared up to everyday use. The seating position ensures that even tall occupants can travel in comfort over long distances. The boot also displays its generous side, with 280 litres of space. Ideal for spontaneous excursions or a weekend shopping trip.

TECHNICAL INFO.

ALL THE DATA & FACTS.

Top figures for the top athlete:
The MINI Cooper S Coupé achieves an impressive set of figures. Despite its sizzling performance, it never uses more fuel than absolutely necessary. That way, even filling up the tank can be part of the fun of driving.

It shows plenty of muscle in every rpm range. That permits an effortless driving style with minimal gear-changing work. Because this agile character simply responds perfectly to the accelerator, whatever the engine speed. Just as the driver would expect of a true sports car.

DIMENSIONS.

MINI FAR AND WIDE.

Wide track, long wheelbase, short overhangs, low centre of gravity and “a wheel in each corner”. The MINI Cooper S Coupé is a born athlete with excellent roadholding and is just perfect for negotiating narrow streets.

ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHTS.

OPTIMUM LIGHT ON STRAIGHTS AND BENDS ALIKE.

Thanks to the optional bi-xenon headlights which adapt to the direction of the road.

Sport Mode.

GENUINE TRACK-STYLE DRIVING EXPERIENCE.

Pressing the Sport button further increases the responsivess of the steering and accelerator pedal, for a genuine track-style driving experience. On vehicles with automatic transmission, it also reduces the time taken for gear changes. When the MINI is in the Sport mode with the Sport button pressed, the exhaust popping noise will be louder.

ABUNDANT SPACE.

SURPRISINGLY STRONG ON INNER VALUES.

You can really believe it’s bigger inside than out. The MINI Cooper S Coupé has all the right ingredients to make even a short trip an experience to relish.

First, the variable boot with 280 litres of space. Then the handy storage areas behind the seats. And also the through-loading facility to the boot.

There is plenty of space for all passengers, too. Specially designed elliptical elements integrated into the roof liner substantially increase the amount of headroom.

The mere sight of the driving area is enough to make you want to start up the engine. Because with its neatly arranged rocker switches and the large central speedometer that is so typical of MINI, it simply craves to hit the road. The build quality is both exceptional and exquisite. Typically MINI.

TURBOCHARGER.

FROM 0 TO 280 IN AN INSTANT.

Further information on official fuel consumption and on the official specific emissions of CO2 for new passenger car models is contained in a brochure which is available free of charge from any MINI Hong Kong dealer.
All figures relate to vehicles with standard six-speed manual transmission. Figures in [ ] are for vehicles with six-speed automatic transmission.

HARD CENTRE.

MOUTHWATERING EXTERIOR.

A sports car could hardly be more inviting. It will only take a few moments before your gaze is captured by the roof’s racing helmet design. With its subtle joins, it almost seems to hover above the MINI Cooper S Coupé.

On the other hand the integral roof spoiler and the electrically extended rear spoiler are all about firmly hugging the ground. Both features provide the right grip on winding roads.

But the key to conquering the air stream is to be found up front. The very sloped A-pillar with flat windscreen improves aerodynamic performance and gives the driver even more scope for high-speed driving.
